The clutch plate connects the clutch to the gearbox and is also called the heart of the clutch. The part is located somewhere between the flywheel and the pressure group. The clutch will wear out over time. A clutch often lasts about 120,000 miles (equiv. 200,000 kilometres). Please note, the time your clutch lasts strongly depends on your driving style and the type of roads you use. However, the clutch plate has no prescribed replacement period. If it is worn out, it needs to be replaced. We definitely recommend against continue driving with a worn clutch plate or other problems with the clutch.
