CV boot broken

Replacing CV boot

You can replace the CV boot yourself with sufficient technical insight. To carry out this job, you should take into account a time frame of about 3 to 4 hours. In order to be able to get to the boot, the drive shaft must first be dismantled. This means that the front wheel and the steering joints have to be removed. The wheel bearing hubs must also be removed before you can properly access the CV boot. Once the parts have been removed, make sure that the wheel bearing and drive shaft components are also checked for wear and replaced if necessary.
