Find car color code

You can easily look up the car paint color code of your vehicle yourself. The color code can be found in the maintenance booklet and on the VIN sticker (vehicle identification number sticker) of your car. The location of the VIN sticker differs per car make and model. The most common locations are on the A-pillar of the car or in the trunk. Have you found the right color code for your vehicle? Then you can easily enter it in the search bar of the website. The correct touch-up markers will be displayed. You can also check in the product description under the tab ' Original part numbers' whether the color code matches.

Spray paint use

Spray paints have a certain expiration date. So check before use whether the spray paint can still be stored. After this best-before date, the quality will decrease and the paint may become dried out. In addition, it is important to shake the aerosol well before use so that the color is well mixed. Use the following steps when getting started with spray paint:

1. Sand the surface where you want to apply the paint.

2. Degrease the surface with a degreaser and apply a primer. This ensures that the lacquer can bond well.

3. Keep a distance of 10-15 cm when spraying and spray gently back and forth.

4. After spraying, use a polishing agent to give the whole thing a nice finish.
