Carpoint BX-1D 12V Battery Charger 3.8 Ampere Lithium

This Carpoint BX-1D battery charger is suitable for charging 12 Volt with 1.2 to 120 Ampere rechargeable lead-acid batteries and 10-80 Ampere lithium batteries.

The battery charger runs through a fully automatic 7-step charging cycle. A diagnostic phase checks the battery's condition and/or its ability to accept the charge. A soft-start phase recovers severely discharged batteries of more than 3 volts under low charge conditions. A recovery phase recovers deeply discharged batteries of more than 7.5 volts. A bulk phase charges at a maximum charge current of 80% of the energy. A absorption phase reaches a charge of nearly 100%. Analysis phase checks the state of charge. A float phase fully charges the battery and maintains it at its maximum level with a low charge current. The maximum charge current is 3.8 amps.

The CP-1D battery charger comes with two different color-coded cables. One cable is equipped with battery clamps for charging disconnected batteries, and the other has eyelet terminals (Ø6.3mm) and a 10-amp fuse for permanently connected batteries. Both cables are equipped with a quick-release connector.

Clear display with: Mode button to switch between standard battery, small battery, lithium, or calcium mode. Indicator lights for error messages and reverse polarity. Charging indicator lights indicate fully charged or ready for use.
