Jumper cables vs battery booster

Technically, there is one big difference between jumper cables and battery boosters. With jumper cables, you need an assisting car that helps you with starting. This is not the case with a jump starter. A car jump starter serves as an assistant, so you can start your car when no other car is around to help you. Jump starters are in a higher price range compared to jumper cables.

How to use a jump starter car

Another option is to use a battery booster, also known as a jump starter car. You do not need to use another car for this. A battery booster has a powerful battery that gives off a high start-up current in a short time. When connecting the jump starter, first connect the red plus cable to the positive terminal (+) of the battery. Then connect the black / blue minus cable to the negative terminal (-) of the battery. Turn on the battery booster and you can start your car again in no time.
