16-piece set for removing damaged or difficult to dismantle glow plugs from the cylinder head and also professional repair of damaged threads.
Suitable for glow plugs with either an M8 x 1.0 thread or M10 x 1.0 thread. This comprehensive kit includes all the necessary adaptors, centring and thread cleaning tools to remove the damaged glow plug without damaging the cylinder head.
This special tool is designed for reaming and cleaning the glow plug hole bore and seal seat after removing an old/damaged glow plug and before installing the new replacement. One of the main reasons glow plugs get stuck in the hole is carbon getting into the glow plug bore. The tool screws into the glow plug threads and reams all the unwanted carbon out of the bore. It also cleans the seal seat at the same time, ready for the new glow plug.
