    Holts Grinding set for valves 42gr + 28gr

    Holts Valve Grinding Kit contains two types of high quality abrasives to remove stubborn deposits as well as re-polishing and "saturating" the valves. The coarse abrasive can be used to re-treat heavily soiled valves or pitted valve seats with minimal effort, while the fine abrasive polishes the valve seats quickly.

    The Holts Company began in 1919. Douglas Holt had worked for the Austin Motor Company during the war, where he had learned about automobiles and mechanics. He was eager to use this knowledge and earn money after the war and opened a small shop with spare parts for cars.

    With the money he made selling old Triumph stock, he bought a ticket to the US, where he first saw chemicals sold for repairing cars. Holts became a family business when Douglas' eldest son joined the company. He worked as a chemist and produced products together with his father.

    After success in the UK, Douglas Holt continued to explore new markets. Holts expanded into France and formed an alliance with General Motors, which had a full distribution network. The company later expanded to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Italy to help drivers across Europe repair their cars in emergencies.

    In 2019 Holts celebrated her 100th birthday! A whole century of helping drivers solve their car problems and keep vehicles on the road.

      Great stuff. Valves are quick and easy to install. I used the kit on a Ford 1.0 EcoBoost engine, and the small suction cup was small enough for the valve. Great stuff!
