    Brake fluid tester digital DOT3, DOT4, DOT 5.1

    The tester is used to test the condition of the brake fluid (DOT3, DOT4 and DOT5.1), based on the analysis of the water content in the brake fluid. The measurement takes 0.5 seconds and gives the result expressed as a percentage of the water content in the liquid.

    Clean the probe with a soft, dry cloth after each test.
    It is recommended to check the fluid in the reservoir and the fluid in the brake system of the wheel furthest from the reservoir.
    The brake reservoir should not be opened for more than 30 minutes as after this time the fluid moisture level may increase.

      This tester provides a clear indication of the moisture content of the brake fluid. My garage recommended buying this one. Two cheaper pen-shaped testers gave me different readings. This meter is more accurate and works well.
