    Simson Crank puller for removing the crank (the pedals are mounted on this part) from the bottom bracket. First remove the locknut from the crank. Then screw the crank puller firmly into the thread of the crank. Then turn the inner bolt of the crank towards the bottom bracket with a ring/open-end wrench. The crank gradually comes loose from the bottom bracket.
