A glaze has as task to restore the gloss of the car. It gives an extreme shine and wet look. Glaze is a product that is based on dry oils which feed the paint of your car, it pulls into the imperfections of the paint. You can apply a glaze after you polished your car. It is basically a step between polishing and waxing. You can apply the glaze easily on the paint, and you can start waxing the car immediately after. However, the glass layer ensures that the car wax does not last as long. That is why most detailers will only use glaze in summer.
