The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler features a new Competition core (Tube Fin) with dimensions of 590 mm x 425 mm x 65 mm. This corresponds to an external core volume of 16.3 liters. The WagnerTuning Competition intercooler for the VW Amarok therefore offers 81% more external core volume than the original intercooler.
The cast aluminum end cases were designed using CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow). An air duct integrated into the radiator inlet ensures even filling of the intercooler core. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. Furthermore, the newly developed Competition high-performance core provides sufficient airflow to adjacent components, such as the radiator, and is also very lightweight. Optimal intake air cooling with significantly higher performance!
An anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity protects the WAGNERTUNING intercoolers from all environmental influences, guaranteeing long-lasting and optimal cooling. Installation uses the original mounting points and is easy to do (plug and play). All our products are subject to continuous quality control.
