Car radiator fan broken

When the car's radiator fan breaks, the engine can overheat. The radiator will no longer be cooled. This can cause serious wear on the engine parts or even break the engine. Engine overheating is indicated by a light in the dashboard. You can recognize a broken fan by reduced power when driving at a higher speed. In addition, the air conditioning will no longer get cold or not work at all. If the radiator fan fails, replace it as soon as possible. This prevents further damage to the car.

Replace car radiator fan

1. Start by disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery. This prevents short circuits during the mounting of the radiator fan.

2. Then the parts that are in the way of the radiator fan can be removed. This way you can easily get to the part. Think, for example, of the engine protection plate.

3. You can then disconnect the fan from the battery and loosen the screws.

Now remove the fan and replace it with the new one.

4. Finally, the parts can be put back in the opposite direction. Do not forget to reconnect the battery properly.
