Blower motor broken

There are a number of symptoms that can indicate that the car blower motor is broken. The first symptom is that the blower positions no longer work. When the air supply can no longer be activated in the dashboard of the car, it is important to check the blower motor and replace it if necessary. Another symptom is a beeping noise that can be heard from the fan. It can also happen that the fan turns slowly or falters during blowing. The blower motor will also have to be replaced with these symptoms. If the blower motor works in position one and three, but not, for example, in position two and four, then the heater resistor is probably broken. You can also find heater resistors in our wide range.

Replace blower motor

Replacing the blower motor will take a few hours of your time. This is because the fan is mounted under or behind the glove box. So the stove fan can be difficult to reach. This will require you to remove surrounding parts such as the cabin air filter before starting the job. To prevent the stove fan from breaking down again within a short time, it is important to purchase a good quality fan. In addition, we recommend that you replace the pollen filter at the same time, in order to maintain optimal operation of the blower motor.

Blower motor

The blower motor of the car is also called the blower. This part provides the air supply of cold and warm air in the car. The cold or warm air is supplied by the heater motor and then blown into the interior by the radiator or air conditioning. This air supply keeps you alert while driving on hot days and is also pleasant to warm up the car in cold winter days. It is therefore important to replace a broken blower motor in time. At Winparts you will find stove fans from top brands such as Febi, Valeo and Nissens. Enter your license plate or select the car model on the website. The suitable car parts for your vehicle will then be displayed.
