K&N drop-in air filter. The filter lasts the lifespan of your engine. A new filter is usually installed when your car is serviced. A K&N filter can be easily washed and reused, saving you considerably on air filter and maintenance costs.
A K&N air filter optimizes the airflow to your engine. This results in better performance and a more refined engine sound. Because of this characteristic, many people also call it a power filter.
This type of K&N filter replaces the original filter in the air filter housing. You open the standard air filter housing, replace the original filter with the K&N air filter, and close the housing. This type is fairly easy to install. There are also K&N air filters that replace your entire air filter housing.
Advantages of a K&N insert filter:
