    Castrol Engine Shampoo the powerful cleaning for engines.

    Castrol engine shampoo is a powerful cleaning agent that is applied before an oil change. It removes sludge in the engine and packs dirt particles, so they can be easily drained and the engine is clean and ready for new oil.

    1. It is solvent-free and therefore does not harm vital oil seals
    2. The product contains a pca powerful cleaning agent that helps remove sludge deposits from the engine.
    3. Up to 85% of the sludge in petrol engines is removed.
    4. Also applicable to light diesel engines.
    5. Ideal for older cars with a high mileage.
    6. Easy to use, Ready in 10 minutes!

    Instructions:

    • Add the engine shampoo to the old oil.
    • Let the car idle for 10 minutes
    • Drain the old oil. Also consider replacing the oil filter.
    • Fill the engine with new oil.
    • The car is ready for use again.

    Castrol currently has three different lines of engine oil:

    - Castrol Edge
    - Castrol Magnatec
    - Castrol GTX

    The Castrol Edge Motor Oil is the most powerful oil that Castrol delivers. Castrol Edge is the most advanced engine oil in the Castrol range. The Fluid Strenght Technology enhances the oil so that metal metal remains frictional. As a result, the engine's life is extended even further as compared to other motor oils.

    Castrol Magnatec and Castrol Magnatec Stop Start is specifically designed to provide 75% less wear while the engine is warming up. Most wear of the engine occurs during the engine warm-up phase. Due to the unique formula of Castrol Magnatec, this wear is significantly reduced. The Castrol Magnatec Stop-Start has additional additives that make the oil slip less quickly from the engine components when the engine is not running. This greatly reduces wear during the engine's modern engine shut-off cycle.

    Castrol GTX is an engine oil with a very strong anti-sludge effect. Due to many short runs in which the engine does not reach temperature, oil canals can be slid into the engine. If short journeys continue, there is a risk of damage to the engine and the engine will no longer be well lubricated. Castrol GTX therefore has very strong anti-sludge additives that greatly reduce sludge formation and keep your engine in top condition. Also, if you ask for the extreme of the engine.

      I'm always a bit skeptical about this kind of product, but the oil really seemed to bring extra junk. At the top of the head it looked nice and shiny after use and the gold deposit was gone.

      Incredibly good cleaner. I have used it several times already, and I notice that the oil consumption is almost completely done... I do let the oil drip out very well, and I add new oil with the drain plug still off, until there is really clear oil runs out again. Then I know for sure that no detergents are left behind that could affect the oil... also always change the oil filter, and empty and clean the filter housing well... Never had any problems with it, and many older engines have been revived...
