    Wynn's Lead Substitute

    Wynn's Lead Substitute is a dual action additive for gasoline engines: • Protects valve seats and reduces their wear when using unleaded gasoline. irregular use, eg LPG engines, motorcycles, lawn mowers, yachts, outboard motors of pleasure boats.

    Properties:

    1. Forms a protective lubricating film on the valves and valve seats, such as those formed by the lead in leaded gasoline.
    2. Protects the non-hardened valve seats against premature wear when using unleaded petrol (prevents the formation of micro-welds).
    3. Prevents fuel breakdown in the tank when the engine is not used for several months.
    4. Protects the fuel from oxidation Prevents the formation of deposits in the tank and filter caused by oxidation products.
    5. Facilitates starting the engine after a long period of non-use.
    6. Does not affect the catalytic converter.
    7. Is completely soluble in gasoline, has no influence on the octane number.

    Applications

    1. For all two and four-stroke petrol engines.
    2. For engines of cars, motorcycles, LPG engines, yachts, outboard engines, generator sets, pumps and lawn mowers.

    Instructions
     Add to unleaded petrol every refueling, preferably before refueling. Mixing ratio 1: 1000 (1 ml per liter of petrol, e.g. 25 ml for 25 liters of petrol). The content of the bottle (250 ml) is sufficient to treat 250 l of unleaded petrol. Use the dosing bottle as follows: Unscrew the cap. Fill the dosing space at the top to the desired dose by gently squeezing the bottle. Remove the cap completely and pour into the petrol tank.

      Good stuff. The Oldtimer must have something instead of lead in the gasoline. This is fine.

      Not really able to test for a long time to assess because my old lead replacement (no longer available Shell Millennium) is also still present in the gasoline but my '88 Golf GTI 16V (KR block) still responds properly, nice and bright , easy starting and no warming up of the engine. The description on the bottle roughly corresponds to the old one and the dosage also works in a similar way, so expect until now that this is a great replacement for Wynn's. Order and delivery went smoothly.
