Rustyco 1022 Rust Remover Gel 25L

RUSTYCO ®-GEL is a viscous unique rust remover that can be applied with a brush. It removes rust 100% pore depth in all seams and crevices, from steel, stainless steel, aluminum and most ferrous metals. Without blasting or sanding. It is not a converter. Cleans the surface microscopically and also works rust-resistant. This is the ideal substrate for all primers and paint systems. It can be treated as a new metal again. RUSTYCO-GEL has been developed to de-rust objects that can not be submerged in a RUSTYCO rusting bath.

RUSTYCO-GEL is not hazardous to most materials such as paint, plastic, wood, rubber, vinyl, glass, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, chrome, etc. No hazardous fumes, non-toxic, non-flammable, biodegradable, environmentally friendly. Note: always test in an inconspicuous area before use.

Instructions:

1. First remove loose rust, dirt, grease and oil.
2. Apply RUSTYCO ® -GEL with a brush in a proportionately thick layer, so that the rust can be absorbed properly.
3. Allow the GEL to work in (at least 30 minutes).
4. Repeat with heavier rust formation until the desired result is achieved.

Tip 1: Cover the GEL with household foil on large surfaces. This ensures that the GEL does not dry out and continues to work until it is saturated (darker in color).

Tip 2: By brushing the GEL occasionally on the rust with a wire brush, the process is accelerated. After de-rusting, the GEL should be brushed off with water. After this, the object can be temporarily rust-proofed. Apply a thin layer of GEL again, (eg with a cloth) to allow it to dry and do not let it come into contact with moisture.
