    Medium strength universal thread sealant for straight/straight and tapered/straight threads and fittings. It fills the space between the threads and at the same time ensures sealing and locking.

    LOCTITE® 577 is designed to lock and seal metal pipes and fittings as well as other threaded assemblies. The product provides an instant, low pressure seal for metal pipes and fittings. It will not creep, shrink or shred. It has excellent chemical and thermal resistance. There is less migration of the liquid product after application.

    Loctite is an American manufacturer of adhesives founded in 1953. The main adhesives produced are metal adhesives. In 1997 the company was taken over by Henkel, during the takeover Loctite has continued to be used as the brand name.
    Loctite started and made its name with metal adhesives. These mainly serve to lock bolts and nuts without the need for additional washers. Nowadays they are also widely used in thread sealing, gasket sealing, and cylindrical fasteners. This adhesive is an anaerobic adhesive based on methyl methacrylate.
    The metal adhesives are available in different colours: red, blue and green. Red is permanent, blue is removable, green is removable when heated slightly.
