Fiat reversing camera interface

Rear view camera adapters are required to retain the OEM rear view camera.

This allows a factory-fitted camera to be connected to a retrofit device with a camera input.

Depending on the vehicle and equipment, the adapter either supplies the RCA video signal, a +6V/ground power supply for the OEM camera, and the +12V reversing signal, or it must be connected to a suitable point in the vehicle.

Vehicles with a 360° camera system or systems with moving distance lines may not be compatible.

Before installation, the correct assignment of the adapter to the OEM connection must be checked.

Many retrofit devices need to be set to the camera function in the menu.

Connection: loose cable

Connection: Rear view camera input retrofit device > Cinch(f) yellow

Connection:
red: +12V ignition current terminal 15 fused
black: earth terminal 31
green: +12V input reversing signal

Camera signal:
Adjust dip switch position without tension

Camera type 1: Dip switch 1 off / 2 off / 3 off
Camera type 2: Dip switch 2 on / 2 off / 3 off
Camera type 3: Dip switch 2 off / 2 on / 3 off

LED:
red: interface in operation
green: reversing signal activated
blue: camera signal camera type valid
