    2-DIN panel

    Many car manufacturers install their own vehicle-specific radios that are visually matched to the center console.
    For this reason, you need a suitable installation panel to replace the standard 1-DIN or 2-DIN radio.
    In addition, vehicle-specific radio connection cables, antenna adapters, steering wheel control interfaces,
    camera adapters and active system adapters are required.

    Please note that Volvo has launched a total of three different axle sizes in this vehicle series, but only two different panel sizes are offered on the aftermarket.
    The first series of this series is visually distinguished by the lack of a decorative strip around the radio and air conditioning control unit, the hood 381352-06 will be suitable for this.
    The second series of this series is characterized by a circumferential decorative strip, but is still problematic because apparently within the first production year (production 09/2003 - 09/2004) the dimensions differ minimally from those of subsequent years. That is why you cannot make a preselection optically. Unfortunately, when you first registered in 2004 and 2005, you do not know which model you have in mind. It is always the date of manufacture, not the date of approval.
    The fit accuracy is not given for 2004 vehicles. The retrofit panel would either need to be reworked or a genuine part would have to be ordered from Volvo parts service according to VIN (vehicle identification number).
