Types of vehicle horns & legislation

There are different types of horns available on the market. Often the standard horns are monotonous, but polyphonic horns are also available. Please note though, that it is forbidden to equip your car with a multi-tone horn. These are more for fun and are often used on, for example, derby- and racing cars. The air horn with a Dukes of Hazard or the Tour de France type of horn sound is more for pleasure than it is for safety.
