Oil pressure sensor

The car engine should always receive the correct amount of engine oil. If the engine does not get enough or contaminated oil, this can cause damage and wear. The oil pressure sensor measures the oil pressure in the engine system and thus ensures that just enough engine oil is regulated to the engine. Using incorrect or contaminated engine oil can cause the oil pressure sensor to fail. Also rust on the  engine parts can cause a defect in the sensor.
